2026 reality check
macOS Tahoe is the last macOS for Intel. Here’s what that means for you.
Apple confirmed that macOS 26 Tahoe is the final release for Intel-based Macs, and macOS 27 runs only on Apple silicon. Hackintosh still works with Tahoe and Sequoia, and Apple has said Intel Macs on Tahoe will keep getting security updates for about three years.
That makes today a good moment to build a stable, fully configured Hackintosh, as long as it is set up by someone who knows what changed in Tahoe (audio and Wi-Fi need extra work). We will tell you honestly whether Tahoe or Sequoia is the better choice for your hardware.

Do I need a Mac to get a Hackintosh installed?
No. We create the macOS USB installer remotely from your Windows PC, so you do not need any Apple hardware.
Which macOS versions can you install?
Usually macOS Tahoe 26, Sequoia 15 or Sonoma 14. The right choice depends on your GPU, Wi-Fi card and apps, and we recommend one in your free compatibility check.
How long does a remote installation take?
Most installs take 2 to 4 hours in a single session. Laptops and unusual hardware can take longer.
Will iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime work?
Yes on supported hardware. We generate a unique, valid SMBIOS and configure your network so Apple services sign in normally.
Can I keep Windows on the same computer?
Yes. We can set up dual boot on the same drive or on separate drives, with OpenCore showing both systems at startup.
Is a Hackintosh legal?
